Responsible Manufacturing
Unisom’s packaging facility in Chattanooga, TN is a ZERO LANDFILL* manufacturing facility as of July 2023. 96% of the facility's waste is recycled and the remaining 4% is incinerated for energy recovery. The site uses 100% renewable energy for Scope 2 emissions from electricity through the purchase of Renewable Energy Credits.

Unisom® products
At Opella Healthcare Group, we’re constantly looking for ways to minimize waste from our products. That’s why we've partnered with TerraCycle®, a pioneer in recycling materials that are too tough for local curbside recyclers to process. Our guidelines follow How2Recycle® labels to show you what can be recycled locally and what should be sent to TerraCycle®.
